My good friend Carlo Costales told me that Palaui Island is a beautiful place. It was unfortunate that I did not have the chance to visit Palaui when he first invited me. But when I had the opportunity to go to Palaui Island, I realized that my friend was wrong. Palaui is not beautiful, it is stunningly breathtaking.

By just tying up straw strings, this man was able to create beautiful sculptures. On display at his small space outside the temple of the reclining Buddha were sculptures of dragons, hermit crabs and elephants. What is amazing about these kinds of souvenirs is that there will only be a few pieces of it. I just regret of not being able to buy one.
